At Wildfire, our Account team is the glue that binds the agency and our clients together. The Interactive Account Executive will work collaboratively with clients to understand their business goals, define solutions, and coordinate agency resources to deliver results.
We are looking for a motivated team player with strong communication and leadership skills. The right candidate will have a proven track record of developing and maintaining strong client relationships with the ability to work on multiple projects staying on budget and strategy.
Job Responsibilities
- Manages the day-to-day operation of their assigned accounts
- Proactively generates business ideas for both Client and the agency
- Actively pursues new business and organic growth
- Effectively uses Agency systems and procedures (opening jobs, billing, etc.)
- Exhibits ability and strength as a self-starter
- Works in a timely manner
- Shows initiative and exhibits problem solving mentality
- Monitors changing scope of jobs and tracks estimates against actuals
- Manages billing and resolves discrepancies; assists with preparation of Agency forecast
- Prepares regular status reports (internal/external)
- Ensures perfection of work that leaves the Agency
- Demonstrates good listening and follow up skills
- Self-educates regarding the marketing discipline and trends in the industry
Recommended Skills/Qualifications
- Four-year college degree, preferably in a communications related discipline (marketing, advertising, public relations, journalism)
- Minimum of five years of experience in advertising/marketing communications with majority focus on DTC eCommerce clients
- Ability to communicate business requirements with the development team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- An understanding of all digital marketing channels
- An understanding of website UI/UX best practices
- Strong attention to details without missing the big picture
- You don’t just identify problems, you come up with solutions
- Ability to convey technical information in an understandable way when talking to clients
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong time management skills—working in a timely and efficient manner
- Creative, flexible, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented work ethic

- Positive and professional in communications
