Katherine is a Group Account Director and business strategist with deep experience in the financial, fashion, beauty, restaurant and hospitality industries. An anthropologist at heart, she loves to talk to, shop, and dig into the minds of consumers to identify new insights and opportunities for brands. She’d love to talk to you about value-minded consumers, generational differences, macro trends affecting brands, and her latest e-commerce find.

Originally from Raleigh, Katherine has been dedicated to the Winston-Salem community since 1999 and loves to travel both near and far. She is a short order cook, an “expert” shopper, and a mom to four girls who are learning about retail therapy by example.

Sarah Chandler joined Wildfire in 2020. A native of Winston-Salem, Sarah spent time in Georgia and Virginia before returning home. With over 16 years of experience across private business, the non-profit industry and collegiate athletics, Sarah’s focus is impacting businesses and organizations by seeing their initiatives through from ideation to execution. Sarah works with local, regional, and national clients to provide positive experiences while achieving their business development, marketing and advertising goals. Sarah is a Mom to two boys, enjoys playing tennis and hosting friends and family.

Elizabeth joined the Wildfire team in early 2024 as an Account Executive, but she brings nearly six years of experience. After graduating from Wofford College in 2017, Elizabeth spent time working across both Carolinas in account management at an experiential design firm and in project management at a full-service marketing agency. 

With over 10 years of marketing experience, Carlee is an accomplished Account Supervisor at Wildfire, overseeing client relationships and managing a diverse portfolio of clients spanning healthcare, technology, CPG, and higher education. Her versatility and passion for learning the intricacies of our client’s business plays a pivotal role in our clients’ success. Prior to time at Wildfire, Carlee worked for a regional brewery, where she learned to market local businesses in a competitive landscape. Her broad experience and proven track record make Carlee a key driver of success at Wildfire.

Boomeranger of Greensboro, NC, Carlee spends her free time hosting happy hours with family and friends, playing adult league soccer, and cuddling her four-legged baby Beasley and baby boy Conrad. In the whirlwind world of marketing, Carlee is a steady, fun-loving rock—always ready to turn up the heat and deliver results with a smile! 

Megan is an Interactive Account Manager currently residing in sunny Tampa, Florida.   Megan fell in love with advertising during her time at Penn State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising, and a minor in Psychology.  She comes to Wildfire with over 14 years advertising experience, with a unique perspective having worked both on the agency and in-house side, as well as the paid media & project management side.   

When she isn’t balancing client requests, you can likely find her balancing her two demanding furry interns (Trevor and Wyatt – The “Hot” Dogs),  her emotions (the curse of being a Philadelphia sports fan),  or balancing on her hands, as an avid Crossfitter. 

Madison is an Interactive Project Manager at Wildfire. Since joining the team in 2022, she has helped manage and navigate web projects from their inception, starting with website planning and design, through to development and ongoing post-launch maintenance. She also develops email concepts and plans for clients based on performance data and analytics. Her primary goal is to ensure that complex projects run smoothly and that our clients are delighted every step of the way.

She holds a B.S.B.A. in Business Administration with a minor in Social Media Marketing from High Point University, which blends her strategic thinking and passion for digital media in every project she undertakes. In her role, Madison has gained experience across various industries including automotive, biomedical and healthcare, and food. Outside of work, she loves to travel, attend concerts and festivals, and explore beauty and wellness trends.

After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Strategic Communications from High Point University in 2022, Shelby came to Wildfire as a summer social media intern. After a year apart working as head of Marketing for a local Winston-Salem brewery, Shelby & Wildfire found their way back to each other, welcoming her as an Interactive Account Executive. Based in Richmond, VA, you can find Shelby reading outside or sweating it out at her hot pilates class. 

Alex Patton, a Winston-Salem local and Wake Forest University master’s graduate, is an experienced account project manager at Wildfire. Alex has managed a diverse range of projects, including private-label packaging, corporate events, environmental design, and national and social campaigns. Alex consistently ensures that each project is executed smoothly and meets client expectations across various industries.

Mike is our co-founder and Chief Creative Officer and has overseen Wildfire’s creative operations across a wide range of brands and disciplines since co-founding the company in 2002. In addition to the critical business decisions that come with ownership.

Throughout his career, Mike has created award-winning ideas for brands of all sizes. From mom-and-pop shops to Fortune 500 companies. His work as Wildfire’s Chief Creative Officer has been recognized by Communications Arts, Clio Awards, Addy’s Awards, Print Regional, Archive-World 200 Best Packaging, The Dieline, The Richmond Show, How Magazine and others. Before settling in North Carolina, Mike worked at agencies in Chicago, Minneapolis and St. Louis.

In addition to enjoying his craft and business in general, Mike enjoys health & fitness, golf, the outdoors, and most importantly, spending time with his young adult children whenever possible.

As Creative Director, Bryan enjoys working with national brands and local businesses alike to help them tell their stories, forge connections, and achieve success.

In this office, he considers himself fortunate to work on teams of folks with admirable dedication toward producing thoughtful work – regardless of industry or medium – that happens to be award-winning.

Outside the office, his world stays immersed in creativity. Between personal projects, exploring ideas and destinations with his wife, Bobbi, an elementary art teacher, and fostering the imaginations of their two daughters, Bryan strives to enjoy the colors each day offers.

Riley Hill is a graphic designer from Richmond, Virginia and a graduate of VCUarts. He is passionate about generating strong creative solutions for clients and welcomes the unique challenges and perspectives of every new project.

Alex is a multidisciplinary designer that lives for illustration, lettering, and all things paper. Even her hobbies revolve around creating – printmaking, baking, and gardening.. and she hates talking about herself in third person.

Traci is the Creative Director for the Richmond creative team. During her near decade in the field, she has produced uniquely creative concepts for a wide range of clients, from passionate startups to established global brands.

A big picture thinker with an eye for details, Traci has produced award-winning work for brands like Wake Forest University, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Hanesbrands, Lowes Foods, BB&T, and Red Hat, just to name a few.

Outside of the office, Traci is a part-time wanderer, avid DIY’er, amateur baker, and aspiring plant supermom.

Jonathan is an award-winning Creative Director with over 20 years of experience, and is a graduate of ArtCenter College of Design – Pasadena CA. Jonathan’s motto is “leave a mark.” And over the course of 20+ years, he’s done just that with both big and small agencies alike.

As a creative, Jonathan has overseen integrated advertising campaigns and led rebranding and design efforts for many regional and national brands. In working directly with clients, he has developed strong relationships to deliver strategic and emotionally-resonant creative that also successfully achieves business goals.

In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and friends, as well as being herded around by his German Shepherd Anja.

Anneli has been with Wildfire since 2018. She has experience with recruiting, training, employee relations, and HR administration. Her passion for making the workplace a space where employees are enabled to grow and learn new skills allows her to continually make Wildfire an amazing place to work.

Greg joined the Wildfire team in 2017. He is from the Chicago area and has a background in construction accounting. He has enjoyed using the knowledge he gained from advanced Microsoft Excel training to help make Wildfire’s processes more efficient and accurate. He’s always eager to learn and believes Albert Einstein said it best in that “Wisdom is not a product of schooling but of the lifelong attempt to acquire it.”

Holt rejoined Wildfire in 2022 having served as its first CFO from 2006-2009. She has 20+ years experience  in accounting, financial analysis, process improvement, budgeting, and financial systems. When not putting out fires at Wildfire, Holt loves to hike, travel,  read, and play the piano.

Mariela joined the accounting world shortly after graduating high school, helping her gain the necessary experience to enter the tobacco industry for one of the largest tobacco companies in the U.S called ITG Brands. There, she spent 7 years in corporate finance before moving on to new opportunities. 

Mariela graduated from UNC Greensboro with a degree in International Business and joined the Wildfire team in October 2023. She is originally from Mexico and enjoys traveling as well as spending time with her friends and family.

Brenda is a native of Winston-Salem. After 29 years with HBI, Brenda retired and joined Wildfire in Oct. 2005 as Office Manager/Office Mom. She enjoys volunteering for Senior Services and NC Food Bank/Empty Bowls. Brenda’s motto: Life is too short to drink bad wine!

Matt came to Wildfire in 2012 by way of Southwest Virginia where he graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Graphic Design.  He now calls Winston-Salem home, along with his wife Lauren, daughter Abigail, and son William. 

Matt has a diverse background in design and development and has worked in the online space since 1998. Matt embraces the latest web trends and leads the development team deliver world-class interactive experiences.

Eli works as a Web Application Developer. His most commonly used saying is “Google it”. His favorite midnight snack is a handful of Doritos. His favorite thinking spot is out in the woods. You will definitely find hot sauce in his refrigerator. His life theme song is “Million O’Clock” by Royal Fingerbowl.

Elaine is the Creative Director of User Experience at Wildfire. A graduate of the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA, she brings over 20 years of experience in digital strategy, website design, product design, integrated campaigns, and branding.

At Wildfire, Elaine leads the UX/UI team, crafting user-centered experiences that not only meet business needs but also stay true to the brand and connect with people. Residing in Charlotte, NC, Elaine enjoys life with her husband Todd, their son Sebastian, and daughter Lila. She’s passionate about music, going to shows, gig poster art and exploring the restaurant scene. When she’s not doing that, you can find her cheering on her kids from the sidelines as a proud sports mom or volunteering at their school.

From the mountain tops of North Carolina, Kevin brings gifts of web application development to Wildfire. A graduate of Appalachian State University, he is a husband and father (2 boys, 3 cats, 1 dog). He claims the mountains of Sparta, NC as his home, but Winston-Salem as his second.

Kinsey is a UI/UX designer based in Dallas, Texas. Since joining the Wildfire team in 2022, she has excelled at crafting seamless digital experiences that resonate with users. Kinsey received her Bachelor’s Degree in Web and Graphic Design from The Art Institute of Dallas in 2017. She has been involved in the design field for 10 years with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating intuitive, user-centered designs.

During her free time, she loves spending time with her family and dog – Buda, going shopping, going for walks, and catching up on new shows. Her hobbies include playing the piano, painting abstract art, and dance. 

Emily lives in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where she enjoys the mountains and nature surrounding her.  She lives with her husband, Tyler and their cat, Autumn. Emily enjoys going on walks, baking sweet treats, getting lost in a good book, and hiking in the great outdoors.

Emily has an Associate’s degree in Computer Information Technology and a Bachelor’s degree in Web Design and Development from Brigham Young University-Idaho. Her professional background is rooted in programming full-stack e-commerce websites and MERN web applications. At Wildfire Ideas, Emily applies her programming skills to help create effective and innovative web solutions for clients.

Scott is a Senior Digital Strategist and SEO Manager at Wildfire. A Winston-Salem area native, he has been working in the digital space since 2003 and owned his own consulting firm from 2008 – 2022. Scott graduated from Appalachian State with a BS in Communications.

Ian is a Web Application Developer and resident of Raleigh, North Carolina. With nearly a decade of experience in professional software engineering, he specializes in full-stack web application development, cloud systems architecture, and database administration. After several years of partnership with Wildfire, he joined their interactive team full-time in 2022.

Aside from a lifelong interest in tinkering with computers, he enjoys working on hobby electronic engineering, circuit board design, and embedded firmware. Ian also spends much of his free time as a musician, both as a band member and a solo artist, including regular live performances, songwriting, recording, and video production.

Wes is a Senior Interactive Project Manager known for his creative thinking and problem-solving skills. With extensive experience in leading web and digital projects, he excels at identifying process gaps and implementing effective solutions that drive brand growth. A North Carolina native, Wes currently resides in Pilot Mountain with his beautiful wife and two children.

Maggie is a graphic and web designer with significant experience in branding, advertising, and web design. Hailing from Ohio, she graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication Design and minors in Advertising and User Experience Design. She moved to North Carolina in 2019 and has been working remotely ever since. In her previous gigs, Maggie played a key role in enhancing brand identities and managing multimedia projects. She leaped back to agency life after a stint at an internal SaaS company, where she quickly realized she missed the adrenaline rush of agency deadlines. Now, as a UI/UX Designer at Wildfire, Maggie spends her days crafting visually stunning interfaces and championing accessibility.

Maggie’s secret weapons? A steady stream of metal music and iced coffee. When she’s not busy designing, she’s diving into a good book, leveling up in video games, or getting her hands dirty in the garden. She also loves watching trash tv with her husband and their fur babies.

Ricky is a Web Application Developer from Johnson City, Tennessee, where he lives with his wife and daughter. He holds a B.S. in Computing with a focus on Information Technology from East Tennessee State University. A lifelong learner of computer science, Ricky enjoys experimenting with the latest web frameworks and technologies. Professionally, he has worked with companies of various sizes to deliver high-quality, interactive websites and digital solutions.

In his free time, Ricky enjoys skateboarding, playing guitar, and tinkering with software. He also has a background in cinema production and a passion for films, often traveling to different cities to attend indie and arthouse screenings. 

Scott currently calls Greensboro, NC home. His first job after college was as an Apple Higher Systems Engineer covering Maryland, DC, and Virginia. He’s been dabbling in graphic design since before Adobe Photoshop was even called ImagePro (yeah, that long). We’re not entirely sure when he started web development, but let’s just say it was before Independence Day hit theaters, so… a while ago. These days, he’s a hardcore WordPress developer who’s been invited to speak at numerous WordPress conferences in NC, Calgary, and Vancouver.

Scott spends his free time building massive archiving tools to manage one of the largest independently managed repositories of old-time radio shows—over 40,000 of them—at radio.dieselpunkindustries.com. Oh, and in case that wasn’t enough, he also scans vintage pulp novels from the 1930s to the 1950s and generously shares them with the world at pulplibrary.com. Did we mention he’s a culinary mastermind? Somehow, he can make vegan food not only edible but delicious—despite being a full-fledged omnivore.

Katie lives in Bethlehem, Georgia with her husband, Carlos, 6 daughters, Onnalisa, Annabelle, Ariel, Katalina, Scarlett, and Piper, and 1 son, Matthew. When she isn’t chasing down missing dishes or stolen items of clothing from her kids’ rooms, Katie loves to read and lounge in the pool or hot tub. She started her journey in digital marketing and data analytics in 2008 as a content developer and never looked back. Now, she enjoys the challenge of analyzing and visualizing marketing data in order to improve the outcomes of client campaigns.

Brad is our Co-Founder and Chief Development Officer. His focus is new business and developing relationships with world-class clients — some of which have been going strong for all 18 years of Wildfire’s existence. Additionally, he helps guide the administrative functions of the agency.

A proud UNC-Chapel Hill Tarheel, Brad began his career in fundraising working first on the local, state and national level for the American Heart Association and then for his alma mater. He jumped to agency life, joining Long Haymes Carr (now MullenLowe MediaHub WS) where he served in many roles during his 7 years, including Chief Marketing Officer.

Brad is a proud Winston-Salem native, an avid fiction reader, a fitness freak, loves to cook and, more than anything, a husband to wife Paula, a dad to their two children Abbi and Beau, and a dedicated volunteer at their school.

He honed his analytical and creative skills through an undergraduate background in Biology and Studio Art, later earning an M.S. in Management and an MBA from Wake Forest University, where he also completed a Digital Marketing and Analytics Certificate from the School of Professional Studies.

She also taught Social Media Strategies as an adjunct professor at Appalachian State University in her hometown of Boone, NC.

Kayaking the New River, gardening, and baking are some of the leisure activities Sarah enjoys with her husband, three grown children, and friends. Ask her about French macarons or backyard chickens!

During her time at VCU, she served as the Vice President of the Ad Club at VCU and was voted “Most Likely to Make You Laugh” by her peers.

Residing in Richmond VA, Sarah is a foodie who enjoys travel and live music. She greatly understands organic social media, trend-watching, and pop culture. Her experience ranges from agency to brand side, including nonprofit work, which helps her deliver analytical results across clients and platforms.
