Revitalizing the digital experience to reflect the brand’s new positioning

Green Mountain Gringo, a heritage salsa brand with over 30 years of excellence, was facing a decline in market share despite strong product quality and recognition as one of the best-tasting salsas on the market. In a crowded “sea of salsa sameness,” the brand needed to reignite consumer interest, stand out with a distinctive voice, and create digital experiences that reflected its adventurous, premium positioning.

While the brand has a loyal following and a reputation for using high-quality ingredients, their digital presence had become an obstacle to growth. The previous website was built on an outdated framework that made content updates difficult and failed to communicate the brand’s premium positioning effectively.The lack of a mobile-optimized experience and a difficult-to-navigate store locator hindered customer acquisition. To remain competitive in a crowded category, Green Mountain Gringo required a unified digital platform that reflected their “all-natural” philosophy and provided a frictionless path to purchase for both retail and online shoppers.
